NFVCB Masterclass Series

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) is inviting filmmakers, content creators, producers, distributors, and other creative professionals to participate in the inaugural NFVCB Masterclass Series, a new professional development initiative designed to strengthen Nigeria’s film and audiovisual industry.

Organized by the NFVCB, a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, the masterclass aims to provide practical knowledge, professional skills, and industry insights that will help practitioners succeed in today’s rapidly evolving digital creative economy.

The programme was developed in response to recommendations from participants at the 5th PAO Nigerian Digital Regulatory Conference (NDRC) held in Lagos in November 2025, where industry stakeholders called for more practical training on key issues affecting the Nigerian film industry.

Masterclass Topics

The maiden edition will cover three critical areas:

  • Legal Issues in the Film Industry
  • Film and Content Monetization
  • Production Standards and Best Practices

Participants will learn from experienced industry experts who will share practical knowledge and real-world guidance that can be applied immediately.

Who Can Attend?

The masterclass is open to:

  • Accredited and card-carrying members of registered guilds and associations under the Federation of Registered Nollywood Guilds and Associations. Members should contact their respective guild leadership for registration.
