Nooktoria Legal Resource welcomes contributions from researchers, academics, legal practitioners, students, and other professionals working on legal issues affecting Africa.

You can contribute in two ways: submit an original article for publication on Nooktoria or suggest an existing research paper for inclusion in our Legal Research database.

We welcome original articles on legal developments, emerging issues, and research relevant to Africa.

Submissions may cover areas including intellectual property, technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, anti-counterfeiting, criminal law, contract law, securities law, arbitration, evidence, international law, commercial law, dispute resolution, and other legal topics.

Submission Guidelines

Articles should:

  • Generally not exceed 1,200 words.
  • Be original and previously unpublished.
  • Be submitted exclusively to Nooktoria for consideration.
  • Include a clear title.
  • Use sources and citations where appropriate.
  • Be written in clear and accessible language.

Authors may also include a short biography and professional headshot.

Submission does not guarantee publication. All articles are subject to editorial review and may be edited for clarity, style, formatting, and accuracy.

Send article submissions to no********************@***il.com.

Have you published a research paper, journal article, working paper, thesis, conference paper, or other scholarly legal publication? You may suggest your research for inclusion in the Nooktoria Legal Research database.

Research submitted for inclusion in the database does not need to be unpublished or exclusive to Nooktoria. Nooktoria generally provides information about the publication and directs readers to the original source where available.

What to Submit

Please provide, where available:

  • Title of the research paper or publication.
  • Author or authors.
  • Year of publication.
  • Country or jurisdiction covered.
  • Legal subject or focus area.
  • Abstract or brief description.
  • Name of the journal, university, institution, or publisher.
  • Link to the publication or full text.

You may also submit research that covers more than one African country or addresses regional or continent-wide legal issues.

Editorial Review

All suggested publications are reviewed before they are added to the database.

Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Nooktoria may classify, summarize, or organize submitted research to make it easier for readers to discover relevant materials.

Inclusion in the Legal Research database does not transfer copyright or ownership of the submitted work to Nooktoria and does not constitute republication of the work.

Send research submissions to no********************@***il.com with the subject line “Research Database Submission.”
